About Philo Web Studio

Philo Web Studio is a full service online media agency with a strong focus on the convergence between market, media and product. We specialize in creating user friendly and visual appealing online communication with a main focus on consulatancy, strategic communication, CMS websites, Flash applications and 3D visualizations and animations. All of our work is based on research and experiences from real world campaigns. We firmly believe that beautiful things really do work better, to cite the words of prof. Donald A. Norman.

Our history

Philo Web Studio have existed in 3 years and was started by me, Michael Bech. I have a background from two different universities in Denmark holding a BA in Communication and Multimedia from the University of Aalborg and a Master in Media Science from the University of Aarhus. From the beginning Philo Web Studio has created beautiful websites with a strategic approach to online marketing. I have worked in large scale projects concerning system development and implementation as well as educational communication and teaching. An important lesson from all this is that in some areas of life media and communication absolutely determines human behaivior. Sometimes because of organizational necessity and other times simply because of personal free will. This goes for external as well as internal communication.
